The space is designed to break down social stigma and regain status for those who are experiencing homelessness. The design approach will use contrast through bold form and both curve, linear path to organize private and public spaces, which create natural encounter points between the users.
"Home is not a place, Home is where we find love and belonging."
This project is inspired by the idea of a lively, floating home—one that appears wherever people need it most. The concept draws deeply from the quiet strength of coastal fishing villages, and the natural, graceful curves of ocean waves. Like the sea, which welcomes all without judgment—no matter where you come from or what you look like—this space is designed to offer the same sense of unconditional acceptance and warmth. The architecture reflects this with flowing, curved forms balanced by bold, linear circulation paths. These contrasts help define both private and public zones, encouraging organic interaction while still protecting personal space.
The building becomes a place of safety, growth, and purpose—where those experiencing homelessness can access work, training, wellness, and transitional housing in an environment that restores dignity. Just like the sea that embraces whoever steps into it, this space is a home for all—open, generous, and deeply human.
